HOUSEHOLDS have jumped on the air fryer trend as energy bills soar, and they could save you hundreds of pounds a year.
You can use the kitchen gadgets for just about anything, from family dinners to desserts.
Better yet, you'll typically use less energy compared to an oven, especially if you're only using one of the racks of the latter.
To help, we've rounded up the cheapest ones available on the market below.
Ben Gallizzi, energy expert at Uswitch, told The Sun: “Some air fryers use a similar amount of power to an oven, but you save money because you need to use them for a much shorter time.
“Whereas it can take up to ten mins for some ovens to get up to temperature, most air fryers are ready in just three."

He added that two boneless chicken breasts may take 15-18 minutes in an air fryer, compared to up to half an hour in an oven.
Mr Gallizzi said: "So while it could cost around 17p to cook the chicken in an oven, it would cost about half that in an air fryer.”
Meanwhile, one savvy mum has swapped the oven for an air fryer and she said it'll save her hundreds of pounds a year.
Of course, how much you can save will depend on your usage and how much you pay for energy, but it could be a handy gadget if you're using the oven many times a week.
At the very least, you should be able to save more than the cost of the gadget itself.
Below are a handful of cheap air fryers still available in stock online.
