Aldi has launched a popular mince pie range this month for shoppers to dig their teeth into.

Many have excitedly taken to social media to share the finding.

One posted: "Aldi has mince pies - this is not a drill!"

Another put: "Today I saw mince pies in Aldi… I then brought said mince pies."

And one more gushed: "My personal favourite is Aldi's salted caramel crumble mince pie."

The pies come in packs of six for £1.09 per box - meaning it costs around 18p per pie.

This is the cheapest range available online, but you can also choose from a selection of flavours including almond, sloe gin and classic butter mince pies.

Remember these are just the ones listed online - stock may be different in store.

And bear in mind other flavours will set you back £2.99 for six - so 50p per pie.

Stock may vary per store, so we recommend calling up first to ask what's on shelves to avoid disappointment.

Keep in mind Aldi doesn't provide home delivery, so you'll need to click and collect if you're purchasing online.

Meanwhile, you can bag a pack of six mince pies for £1.25 from Tesco. And remember you can check if you have any Clubcard deals to use too, so it might be worth a look there.

Morrisons also sell a box of six for £1.25 - which equals about 21p per pie.

But Sainsbury's sell six for £2.25 - so be sure to look around other supermarkets first before buying.

Spotting deals at supermarkets
