I’ve covered every last inch of my £1.35million six-bedroom mansion in doodles
ARTIST Sam Cox has covered every last inch of his £1.35million mansion with doodles.
The 28-year-old bought the six-bed property in 2019 and has since covered even the bath, bed and cooker in his quirky designs.
Each room is themed, with the sea in the bathroom, dreams in a bedroom and heaven and hell on the stairs.
But none of the individual drawings were planned and are described by Sam — known in the art world and online as Mr Doodle — as “spontaneous”.
His project took 900 litres of emulsion, 401 spray paint cans, 286 bottles of drawing paint and 2,296 pen nibs.
Sam said: “The completion of the house is just the beginning of my childhood dream to doodle the planet.”
He and wife Alena, also an artist, said their neighbours in Tenterden, Kent, have been supportive.
But the previous owners were not keen.
Sam said: “They told me, ‘Whatever you do, please don’t doodle’. I didn’t listen.”
The couple say they plan to move into the house soon.
