Best and worst airports for parking fees revealed – and how to save money

The data is a snapshot of what prices looked like on August 5, 2022 - so if you search on a different day, you could get a different outcome.

But it gives an indication of where it is cheapest and most expensive to park - plus, we've got some tips on how to save more too.

We searched for airport parking costs for a trip between August 20 and August 27, 2022.

We looked at parking at the airport - rather than in an off-site parking lot or using meet and greet services.

It's worth pointing out that some airports were fully booked so we were unable to find a price for these - they include Heathrow and Gatwick, among others.

According to our comparison, Durham Teeside International was the cheapest place to park, costing just £40 for the full week cost.

Next cheapest were Humberside and Liverpool airports, at £50.50 and £59.99 respectively.

The most expensive airport for parking was Birmingham where the week of parking would cost £164.89.

The second and third most expensive airports were Leeds Bradford (£129.00) and Luton (£120.49).
