Iceland is bringing back a retro kids dinner favourite and shoppers are divided

SHOPPERS have been left divided as Iceland brings a nostalgic kids dinner favourite back to its stores.

Foodies have spotted an iconic 90s meal-time staple back in stores this week.

Iceland hase brought a new version of dinosaur chicken nuggets back to its freezer cabinets - and this time, they're turkey.

The fan-favourite costs £2 and you can find them in the frozen aisle.

One customer found them and shared a picture on , captioning it, "New Jurassic World Turkey Dinosaurs at Iceland Foods".

Many commenters weren't quite sure what to think.

One shopper wrote: "I need some!" and another said: "Ooof i'll be getting me some of those"

One more wrote: "Turkey Dinosaurs yay I want them xxx"

But others weren't as excited, posting: "What sort of abomination is that?!!"

One user said: "They are just the original dinosaurs with a new packaging, Aldi sell them too"

And another put: "I bought these thinking they were different to normal ones, but nope, completely the same. Such a let down"

Another shopper said: "Same as the normal turkey dinos just in a Jurassic world packaging";

How do they compare to other dinosaur nuggets?

There are plenty more supermarkets which sell their own version of the kids dinner-time classic.

Aldi does its own turkey dinosaurs for £1.59, while Farmfoods sells them for £2 - or three packets for £5.

Meanwhile, Asda, Sainsbury's and Morrisons all sell chicken dinosaur nuggets for £2.50.

Iceland has also been selling nine turkey dinosaur nuggets for £2 without the Jurassic World packaging, and also does a Quorn version for £2.40.

It also has a deal of three for £5.

And if you're not fussed about the shape, you're probably better off buying standard nuggets - .

If you're fussed about trying dinosaur nuggets again for nostalgia's sake, do shop around to get the best deal because you never know what's available elsewhere.
