Rare error £2 coin sells for whopping £450 on eBay – is one hiding in your change?
A RARE £2 error coin has sold for a whopping £450 on eBay - 225 times more than its face value.
A major fault has made the small change look all one colour - but that's not how £2 coins normally come, and it's piqued the interest of avid collectors.
As many as 21 in fact, as they battled it out on online auction site, eBay, to claim the rare copy for their own.

Another coin just like it sold for £255 - or 130 times its face value - just months before.
