HOME Bargains has become one of the UK's favourite high street shops.
The chain will be adjusting their hours over New Year, in order to give its hardworking employees a well-earned break.
Home Bargains over the festive period
Home Bargains normally adjusts its hours over the Christmas and New Year period.
In 2024, they issued a statement about wanting to give back to their workers.
The chain said: “We know how hard all our colleagues have worked throughout the year.
"Being a family-run business, we recognise the importance of spending quality time with our loved ones.

"Therefore, we feel it is only right to support our valued store teams by giving them extended time off around Christmas and New Year."
This meant that the company allowed its workers to finish at 5pm on Christmas Eve 2024 and the store reopened several days later on December 27.
On New Year's Eve, the shop will operate under its regular hours before closing on January 1, 2025.
It will reopen as normal on January 2, 2025.
