Normal-looking barn conversion home goes on sale – and it hides an incredible nautical secret
AT first glance, this £970,000 home looks like your average barn conversion.
But the inside of the house is like no other, decked out with a stunning nautical theme including a tiki bar, rope swings and even pirate statues.
Set on more than three acres in Lakeport, California, the unique property will offer its new owner a splash of luxury living, with a huge outdoor pool and even a stage for a private band.
Bridges link different parts of the house and daredevil guests can rope swing between rooms, while a surfboard and kayak adorn the walls.
To add to its catalogue of distinctive features, the entire house is also decked out with giant sawmill timber.
The Zillow listing boasts there are 1,272 lineal feet of timber in the "amazing" three-bedroom home - creating an "unmatched atmosphere".
