Plusnet goes down leaving hundreds with no mobile phone signal
HUNDREDS of Plusnet customers were left without mobile phone signal due to an outage today.
The network confirmed some customers were unable to make calls this morning.
Plusnet mobile phone customers reported being unable to make or receive phone calls from around 11am this morning.
They were able to send texts and use mobile data, the company said.
The issues have since been resolved and customers should be able to make calls as normal.
One Plusnet user said this morning: "I can't make or receive any mobile calls. I just get "Failed - Retry?" and some beeps when I try to call out.

"And similar when someone tries to call me. Is there a problem?"
Another added: "Same with me in London as well - trying to make calls from other phone to the Plusnet number gives an invalid number error."
"A lot of Plusnet mobile customers complaining in the last hour they lost ability to call/receive," a customer said.
Some customers said their mobile data and texts were working despite the signal problems.

Most of the complaints were in major cities including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield and Glasgow.
A Plusnet spokesperson said: “Some customers were experiencing problems when trying to make calls on the Plusnet network.
"Customers can now make calls again and service was restored within an hour.
"Data and text services were unaffected. We’re very sorry for any inconvenience caused.”

Plusnet is one of the networks that hasn't hiked roaming charges for travellers this summer, but other companies have.
However its prices have increased for some customers.
