CASH hungry consumers have just DAYS left to get £175 for free.

The money boost is simple enough to get your hands on, but you have to do a switching step before it’s yours.

You’ve got just DAYS left if you want to get your hands on £175 free cash

That involves switching over your current account to a .

But the switch offer is only available until April 29, so there’s not long left to apply.

You’ve only got to have opened the account by then though, and you’ve got 30 days to make the switch to redeem your cash.

You’ll also need to pay in at least £1,500 within 60 days and switch over two or more of your direct debits or standing orders to receive the money.

But once you’ve done that, HSBC ticks off your eligibility, and you’ll receive the cash bonus within 30 days.

However, to qualify you can’t have had an HSBC current account or opened a First Direct current account since January 1, 2019.

You have to found in the latest instalment of the savings experts’ weekly newsletter, otherwise you’ll only benefit from £150 that’s up for grabs directly from the bank.

But HSBC isn’t the only bank offering rewards either.

First Direct, for example, is giving new customers £150.

Meanwhile, there’s £125 on offer from both Halifax and Nationwide if you follow similar switching steps.

And if cash isn’t your style, one high street bank is giving new customers 100 Greggs sausage rolls if they open an account instead.

It’s a good idea to have a shop around and see what may suit you best.

But don’t get too swept up in the free incentives, you should be sure to check all the eligibility criteria before signing up.

There might be other requirements for claiming the freebie, which could leave you out of pocket or with a product that you don’t need.
