McDonald’s is bringing back a popular burger next week – as it adds five items to the menu
McDonald's has revealed a major menu shake-up with a top item making a comeback.
Maccies has confirmed that five new items will arrive on its menus in just days.
Fans of the McSpicy will be pleased to hear that it is officially back from Wednesday April 27 - next week.
The burger features a spicy chicken breast fillet topped with crunchy lettuce and mayo in a toasted sesame seed bun.
The item was a hit with most Maccies fans when it was up for grabs last year, and burger devotees have been demanding its return ever since.
But not everyone was impressed with the temporary addition to the menu.
When the burger was first released, some customers described it as "underwhelming" and "mild".
Those not so keen on it will still have four other menu additions to choose from.
These include the Grand Big Mac, Grand Big Mac with bacon, cheesy garlic bites and Flake raspberry & Flake chocolate McFlurry.
Those looking to treat themselves to a tasty bite should expect to pay £4.29 for the McSpicy burger on its own, or £5.79 for a medium extra value meal which comes with chips and a drink.

The other menu item prices are as follows.
- Grand Big Mac - £4.79 individually, or £6.29 for a medium extra value meal
- Grand Big with bacon - £5.29 individually, or £6.69 for a medium extra value meal
- Cheesy garlic bites - £1.99
- Flake raspberry & Flake chocolate McFlurry - £1.39 for regular tub, or 99p for a mini tub
But to make room for these newbies, McDonald's told The Sun it will be axing seven current items from the menu on Tuesday April 26.
These include the three burgers in the Big Tasty range - including the original, the one with bacon and the BBQ option.
Also leaving the menu are the Homestyle crispy chicken, chilli cheese bites with rich tomato dip, the Cadbury caramel McFlurry and the McFlurry.
So if one of these is your go-to lunch choice, be sure to make the most of it before it disappears, as we don't known if or when they'll be making a reappearance.
The fast food giant switches up its menus roughly every six weeks to give fans a bigger range of choice.

This month, McDonald's announced 30 days of offers including 20% off the entire menu.
