Are other stores are selling cheap Easter eggs?

Other big supermarkets like Sainsbury's aren't advertising discounted chocolate online, and Waitrose has sold out of stock online when The Sun checked.

But that doesn't mean there might not be cheap chocolate on sale in stores.

Supermarkets typically slash prices to get rid of stock in shops to make room for new items.

It's best to give your nearest store a ring first to avoid disappointment though, as stock levels will vary between shops.

A Sainsbury's spokesperson for example told The Sun that availability of eggs will vary from store to store.

It's not just supermarkets that sell Easter eggs every year, a lot of other retailers do too - but they might be more expensive.

For example, Hotel Chocolat has cut half price off big Easter eggs - but they are still pricey despite the savings.

For example, this is still £15 - down from £30.

Thorntons has also cut prices - for example, this was £4, but now it's £2.50.
