Major supermarket is selling veg for just 1p – but you only have TWO DAYS to get it

A MAJOR UK supermarket has slashed the price of vegetables to just 1p this week.
Iceland has launched a veg sale in the run up to the Easter bank holiday weekend.
Shoppers may be trying to reduce their food bills due to the rising cost of living.
Supermarket prices, energy costs and tax bills have all risen for households across the country.
The Iceland deal is only available online so you won't be able to buy the discounted veg in store.
You'll need to enter the discount code ICE1VEG before you pay in order for the money to be taken off your total bill.

The grocer doesn't charge for delivery, but you'll need to spend at least £35 to make an order.
That means the deal is useful if you were already planning to do a big shop at Iceland.
The products, including roast dinner essentials such as carrots, potatoes and broccoli, usually cost around £1 at Iceland.
That means you could make a 99p saving.

However, there is a limit to how much you can buy - you will only be able to get one of the items for 1p.
The deal will run until 11pm on Thursday, April 14.
The supermarket said all vegetables included in the offer will have a best before date after Easter to ensure families can use them in over the bank holiday.
It comes after it reduced the price of veg to 1p before Christmas last year.
Richard Walker, managing director at Iceland, said: “Our 1p vegetable sale was so popular at Christmas, especially when so many other supermarkets hike up the prices of their roast ingredients, that we decided this was a no-brainer to run it again this Easter."
Meanwhile, Asda has also slashed grocery prices in the run up to the weekend.
From today, it has reduced the cost of vegetables including carrots, broccoli, parsnips and onions to just 20p.
This offer is available both in store and online until April 18.
Asda has also cut the price of meat until April 17, with whole lamb legs and beef joints reduced by 50%.
