Six ways to decorate your table for Easter lunch
DECORATING a table for Easter lunch need not cost the earth.
Whether you make your own adornments or enjoy a spring-time shop, you can spruce things up without big expense.
Here’s some inspiration to help you . . .
HUE BEAUTY: Choose a pretty pastel-coloured tablecloth for an instant Easter look, and you can carry on using it after-wards.
Make it PVC if there’s little people around. Dunelm’s Country Hens PVC tablecloth, from £6, is a good buy.
FLOWER POWER: For a gorgeous display, add flowers. You can trail across the table some pretend blooms such as the Spring Garland from Argos, £12.
If you prefer real flowers, consider a centrepiece such as the gorgeous Easter rose-and-lily bouquet, £15, from Morrisons.
CRAFTY KIDS: Even the most stylish table will be improved with some cute children’s craftwork.
Check out the ideas hub at for amazing creations to work on over the school holidays, such as Easter Bunny Crackers.
GET EGGY READY: Some cute, coloured egg cups can be a small but affordable touch to add atmosphere.

BRANCH OUT: Wilko’s six speckled hanging egg decorations, £2, can be hung from branches in and around your dining space. You can find your own rustic twigs while out for a holiday walk.
Or snap up a ready-made Easter tree from Wilko for just £8.
TIE A RIBBON: Use the cute springtime ribbon at Morrisons, £1.50 for six one-metre lengths, to tie around some yellow napkins with a sprig of greenery.
It can also be wrapped around vases or gifts, or be used to hang Easter ornaments.
