Room for rent in north London hits market for £900 a month – but it comes with a catch
A £900-PER-MONTH room for rent in London has raised some eyebrows - as the tenant has to share it with somebody else.
The spacious quarters in Hackney may look appealing at first, but whoever moves in will need to be comfortable sleeping inches away from their roommate.
Images of the property show two single beds just an arm length's apart with just a tiny chest of drawers between them.
At the end of the beds is a wardrobe alongside a small table with a kettle and two mugs.
The shared space is advertised as being "ideal for a single working professional".
But a staff member today confirmed the bedroom would be shared with another person.

They did, however, state there is also a private, double bedroom available in the same three-bedroom home.
A spokesperson for letting agent Dimension Estates said: "A spacious double bedroom decorated to a modern standard and offers bright and airy living space, access to a large communal kitchen and a lovely shared rear garden.
"The room is decorated to a neutral standard, double glazed and laminated flooring and offered as furnished."
Social media users were quick to comment on the potential new home after spotting the unique sleeping arrangement.
One said: "You definitely pick the window bed.
"You'd need to keep a sock full of snooker balls next to your bed in case your new cellmate got any ideas about nicking the window side."
Another wrote: "I wonder if they offer a turn down service and keep the tea and coffee topped up."
A third joked: "Don't even get your own bedside table."
