Stella McCartney rakes in cash for ailing fashion brand by flogging gear at TK Maxx

CELEB designer Stella McCartney is raking in cash for her ailing fashion firm by flogging gear at budget store TK Maxx.

She has a high-end shop in London but her sunglasses are on sale for £59 and jeans £199 with the high street chain.

A £635 jumper full of holes is £199 and a £1,600 khaki mac costs £349 on the TK Maxx website.

And a fake fur jacket that once retailed at £855 is now down to £299.

Stella, 50, daughter of Beatle Sir Paul, started offloading stock with the high street giant after her company racked up debts of £30.4million in 2020.

But her clearance lines are not cheap enough for some. One shopper posted online: “I still can’t afford this kind of gear even with a monster discount.”
