Shoppers left disappointed after Primark Greggs range sold out in MINUTES – and items are already spotted on Ebay

SHOPPERS excited about the launch of the Primark Gregg's clothing range have been left disappointed after reports that some stores sold out within half an hour.

The range hit stores yesterday morning, and fans were seen queuing around the block at some locations to get their hands on the items.

Primark and Greggs announced their unexpected collaboration earlier this month.

The 11-piece collection is only being made available at 60 Primark stores in the UK - but already some are sold out.

Writing on Twitter, one fan said: "I went to the Reading store which opens at 09:00 and most sold out by 09:30."

Another used a crying emoji to convey her disappointment, tweeting: "Primark sold out of Greggs stuff before I got any."

Another shopper tweeted on Saturday lunchtime: "Primark at Merry Hill centre has sold out of their entire range of Greggs stuff since opening at 9am this morning."

Primark tweeted in reply to shoppers: "Thanks for reaching out, we are aware of the exceptionally high level of interest in the Greggs merchandise, and we are doing our best to meet this demand!

"We would encourage you to contact your local store, and they will help you with any stock query."

But some superfans who did manage to grab the bakery-themed goods are already trying to make more dough.

A number of items from the range have already been spotted on Ebay, and are being listed for considerably more than the retail price.

A two-pack of sausage roll print pants were £7 in store, but The Sun has seen them listed for £20 and more on the auction website - albeit there are no bids yet.

There are four bids on one pack currently at £7.50, however, and a bucket hat also has four bids, currently at £13.

A five-pack of socks, selling in store for £7, has five bids at the moment - with a current price of £16.

There are also bids on the Primark X Greggs trainers, which were selling in store for £16. The listings we spotted are currently at £8 and £10.50.

ON A ROLL

Shoppers were seen queuing in wind and rain before stores opening yesterday to get their hands on the pastry-themed collection.

The Greggs range includes t-shirts for £8, trainers for £16 and sausage roll print pants for £7.

One fan told The Sun he made a 12-hour journey through Storm Eunice from Worcester to get to the Newcastle upon Tyne store in time to get a bakery-themed clothing bargain.

And it seems those who were quick off the mark have been lucky, with many stores already sold out.

The goodies were only available at 60 of Primark's 188 UK stores and even fewer still have stock left.

The Sun has asked Greggs whether the items will be restocked.
