Tesco reveals £15 Valentine’s Day meal deal and it includes duck breast, chocolate brownie and prosecco
VALENTINE'S Day is here, and Tesco fans can still grab a special meal deal for two - featuring calamari, duck breasts and heart-shaped potato croquettes.
But shoppers need to take advantage of the deal NOW, as the romantic offering ends today.
The Tesco deal includes a starter, a main, two sides, a dessert and the choice of a full-sized bottle of Tesco Finest Prosecco, wine, a four-pack of Peroni beers or a non-alcoholic alternative.
That's less generous than Asda, which is offering a Sky Movies voucher worth £5.49 and a box of chocolates on top of the regular trimmings.
Starter highlights include calamari with chilli jam and the Tesco Finest antipasti platter.
Delicious mains on offer are duck breast with hoisin raspberry sauce, Wicked Kitchen veggie wellingtons and more.
The desserts are sure to catch the eye too, with heart-emblazoned millionaires tarts and raspberry and passion fruit cheesecake to choose from.
Just like last year, Tesco's Valentine's Day meal deal for two will cost £15 each.
That's the price advertised to Tesco Clubcard members.
We've asked Tesco how much it will cost for everyone else and will let you know as soon as we hear.
If you wanted to buy the priciest items separately, you'll pay a small chunk more.
When we checked, the rump steak with peppercorn butter was £8, the millionaires tarts £3, and the Prosecco £10.
That means the bundle can save you some pennies off your shop.
The offer began on February 9 in Tesco Extra stores and online, but is no longer available for online shopping as the deal is set to finish tonight.
