You can now order McDonald’s delivery via its app
MCDONALD'S fans will be able to order a Big Mac or McFlurry to their door directly from McDonald's for the first time.
The Sun can reveal that the McDelivery service is now available through the fast food chain's My McDonald's app.
The McDonald's app offers online ordering already - but only for pick up at your chosen branch.
Home delivery has been available via Uber Eats and Just Eat for some time and that will continue alongside Maccies own in-app delivery service.
The My McDonald's app is available to download for free from the for Android phones and for iPhone users.
Go to the order tab on the app and you can now choose delivery or pick up.
When choosing delivery you'll need to enter the address you want your food to arrive at and you can also include additional delivery instructions if needed.
That's different to the pick up option where you choose the nearest store you want to collect your food from.

How much that is can vary according to your location, but you'll see the price in the app when you select delivery and add your address.

We compared that to Uber Eats, where it was also £3.99 and Just Eat, where it cost £3.50 for orders of less than £7 and 99p for orders over that amount.
There's no minimum spend as standard, but there may be a set amount on future delivery promotions, so check the small print first of any offers or discounts.
Menu prices may also be higher when getting McDelivery compared to ordering online for picking up.

A single hash brown cost £1.09 for delivery the same as the pick-up price.
A pancakes and sausage meal was priced at £4.19 for delivery, costing 50p more than the £3.69 for pick up
