Aldi is declaring this month Junemas – here’s how to celebrate a very merry summer Christmas
MERRY Junemas! Yes, it’s really a thing.
With many December festivities unable to go ahead with family as planned, Aldi is declaring this month Junemas and bringing a taste of Christmas to summer.
I love this idea and think we could all do with another reason to celebrate.
Here’s how to celebrate a less costly Christmas this week.
PIES THE LIMIT: As part of its Junemas offering, all Aldi stores will stock mince pies from today.
Get a 12-pack of mini mince pies for just £1.79 — a bargain price, especially considering you won’t generally find any on supermarket shelves at this time of year.
DISNEY MAGIC: You can snap up Disney’s new Christmas baubles on its website.
There are perfect ornaments for a baby’s first Christmas (or Junemas!) as well as collectible favourite characters including Grumpy from Snow White and Ariel from The Little Mermaid.
I’ve also seen packs of last year’s Primark baubles up for grabs on eBay for £7.99, down from £11.
LITTLE PIGGIES: What would Junemas be without a few pigs in blankets?
They’re certainly welcome all year, if you ask me.
