KFC brings back massive 80-piece popcorn chicken bucket for £6
KFC has brought back it's massive 80-piece popcorn chicken bucket and it only costs £5.99.
The giant buckets of popcorn chicken aren't normally available to buy from the fast food chain so you'll want to cash in on the giant deal while you can.
The chain does sell smaller pots of popcorn chicken, although we don't know exactly how many pieces come in each size.
A large costs around £4.99 depending on the branch, meaning you can upgrade to a mammoth-size portion for an extra £1.
Plus the £5.99 price tag for the 80-pieces of chicken works out at roughly 8p per bite.
The deal is available for all orders placed either in-store, drive-thru or on their app or website for take-out, and drive-thru.
How to save money on your takeaway
TAKEAWAYS taste great but they can hit you hard on your wallet. Here are some tips on how to save on your delivery:
Cashback websites- and will pay you to order your takeaway through them. They're paid by retailers for every click that comes to their website from the cashback site, which eventually trickles down to you. So you'll get cashback on orders placed through them.
Discount codes - Check sites like for any discount codes you can use to get money off your order.
Buy it from the shops - Okay, it might not taste exactly the same but you'll save the most money by picking up your favourite dish from your local supermarket.
Student discounts - If you're in full-time education or a member of the National Students Union then you may be able to get a discount of up to 15 per cent off the bill. It's always worth asking before you place your order.
It doesn't work for delivery though, so you can only claim the discount by grabbing your food in person, either by ordering via the app or in a branch.
KFC restaurants are currently open during the current lockdown for takeaway and collections.
There are 900 branches in the UK - use its to track down your nearest one.
The offer ends on May 3 as part of a month-long "Big Deals" event.
Customers can claim the deal as many times as they like and it can be combined with other offers too.
For example the deal can also be combined with the "2 Large Sides for £2.49" promotion that is currently running.
It's the second time the fast food chain has added the limited edition snacks to the menu, but the mega size chicken bucket came under fire from health campaigners who said the fried treat was "slowly killing customers".
One bucket on its own contains 1,220 calories but KFC's online nutritional information said that the 80-piece bucket is designed to be shared among four people.
If the tea-time treat is shared out as intended then each portion contains 305 calories, 1.64g of salt, and 1.79g of saturated fat in 20 pieces bite-size chicken pieces.
The fast food chain is also slashing prices on the twister wrap meal that is usually £4.99 but you can get it for £3.25 on the KFC app in their rewards and offers section until May 3.
As well as this, they are charging only £12.99 on the app for the 10 piece bargain bucket which would usually be £14.99, and this offer only lasts until May 3 too.
