EASTER bank holiday weekend is here - but it does mean that supermarket opening hours may vary.
Waitrose is no different and you may find the opening hours of your local store are changing.
We explain the changes over Easter.
Is Waitrose open over Easter?
On Good Friday and Easter Monday the majority of Waitrose stores will be open from 8am - 8pm, with some Little Waitrose shops opening from 6am - midnight.
All the will trade normal hours on the Saturday in between which means an extra hour to pick up what you need before 9pm.
But in England and Wales all the stores are set to completely close on Easter Sunday.
Although, smaller versions of the shop found at Shell and Welcome Break stores are trading as usual, regardless of the bank holiday break.
Individual shop opening hours can still vary though, so it's always best to before you visit over the festive weekend.
Is Waitrose doing home delivery?
Home delivery is operating as normal over the Easter break, but coronavirus means there might be a higher demand of shoppers.
Slots are being snapped up quickly as they work on a first-come first serve basis.
Home delivery is free though, if you spend a minimum of £60 on your online shop.
You can also opt for click and collect which is free if you spend at least £40.
There are a few slots available for click and collect on Friday, Saturday and Monday over the Easter weekend, but delivery slots are proving quite hard to come by.
And you definitely won't be able to get a delivery or go in-store to collect on Easter Sunday this year.
Keep checking your local store’s availability to be sure of the chance of snapping up one of the highly sought after slots.
When are the Easter holidays this year?
This year the spring bank holiday weekend falls earlier than it did in 2020, in the first week of April.
Good Friday is on April 2 making Holy Saturday - which isn't a bank holiday - April 3.
