McDonald’s launches week of deals including 30% off orders and a Quarter Pounder for 99p

MCDONALD’S has a week of offers starting tomorrow including £5 off a £15 meal, a 99p Quarter Pounder and Chicken Selects for £1.49. 

Plus the final deal - valid for a fortnight from next Tuesday - lets customers get 30% off any food and drink order.

The only catch is you need to order via the My McDonald’s app - but it’s free to download and register.

McDonald’s normally has an offer each Monday - but is doing a week of deals to “give everyone a little lift” ahead of .

Starting tomorrow, March 17, fast food fans can get a Quarter Pounder with Cheese for just 99p - saving £2.50. 

Other favorites are cut to 99p, including the Filet-O-Fish on Thursday and the Triple Cheeseburger on Friday.

What deals will McDonald's be running?

HERE are the deals you'll find through the My McDonald's app:

  • Wednesday, March 17: 99p Quarter Pounder
  • Thursday, March 18: 99p Filet-O-Fish
  • Friday, March 19: 99p Triple Cheeseburger
  • Saturday, March 20: £1.49 Chicken Selects x3
  • Sunday, March 21: Spend £15, get £5 off
  • Monday, March 22: 99p Chicken McNuggets
  • Tuesday, March 23: 30% off (two-week redemption period)

On Saturday, three Chicken Selects is down from £3.79 to £1.49.

Sunday’s offer is ideal for families - or big eaters. Customers get £5 off when they spend £15 or more - whether breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Next week, get Chicken McNuggets for 99p on Monday. 

Tuesday’s deal is a cracker. McDonald’s is offering 30% off all food and drink off any order made via the app.

The one-time deal is valid that day, March 23 - or any day for the two weeks after that.

Everything is included in the 30% deal - McMuffins for breakfast, Happy Meals and Big Macs.

Prices vary slightly across the 1,300 UK restaurants, but typically a Big Mac will be reduced from £3.19 to £2.24 - a saving of 95p. 

A Chicken Legend will be £2.72 rather than £3.89 to £2.72. A milkshake goes from £1.79 to £1.26.

A four Chicken McNuggets Happy Meal is cut by to £1.74 from £2.49.

McDonald’s restaurants have now re-opened for walk-in takeaway - as well as Drive Thru and McDelivery.

All the deals are only available to customers who order with the My McDonald’s app for collection, by foot or car.

That means customers cannot get them by walking in and ordering on touchscreens or at a counter - nor if they opt for delivery at home. 

The MyMcDonald’s app can be downloaded on iPhone and Android phones and is quick to set up.

You need to enter card details or use Apple Pay, Android Pay or Samsung Pay - the built in digital wallets on phones.

McDonald’s breakfast is available from 6am-11am and the lunchtime menu is available from 11am daily.  

If you’re tempted, there are around 1,300 McDonald’s restaurants in the UK and you use the  to locate your nearest one.

A McDonald’s spokesperson said: “It’s been a tough year and we’re delighted to bring our customers exclusive offers and discounts through the My McDonald’s App to give everyone a little lift.”  

In its latest menu update McDonald's has brought back its Grand Big Mac and Homestyle Crispy Chicken burger.

But the menu will change again to make room for new products later this month, leaving some fans "raging".

It was a similar story when Katsu nuggets sold out before the last menu change.
