If you’re planning on taking a trip to your local pub or favourite restaurant on April 12, there will be some rules you’ll need to follow.
Like before, pubs and restaurants will have to offer table service and face masks must be worn by staff and customers when not sat at a table.
You won’t be able to sit inside, but pubs will now be allowed to offer takeaway pints, something which was banned during lockdown.
The government has also scrapped the 10pm curfew and punters won't have to buy a "substantial meal" when they order an alcoholic drink.
