We've rounded up all the Christmas adverts that have aired so far in 2020

But there are still plenty of retailers that are remaining tight-lipped about their Christmas 2020 campaigns.

Ikea and Iceland are yet to drop their adverts, while Boots has confirmed it isn't doing an ad this year.

Here are the ads you can watch now, listed in the order they were released with the latest one at the top.

Tesco

Santa's nice list is looking very full this year - that's because Tesco (and Santa) thinks no one deserves to be on the naughty list in 2020.

Despite some bad behaviour which the characters confess to in the supermarket's latest Christmas ad, all is forgiven because it's been a difficult year following the coronavirus crisis.

Even people who bought too much toilet roll escape the naughty list, and the ad's cheeky message is accompanied by Britney Spears' iconic song "Oops!... I Did It Again".

You can watch the ad here and on TV after it made its screen debut during The Voice on ITV on Saturday night.

Sainsbury's

Sainsbury's has filmed its Christmas ads in the style of home movies

Sainsbury's has gone the emotional route this year with a heartwarming Christmas advert which shows the importance of family - and gravy in particular.

The tearjerker features a phone call between father and daughter set against home video footage of Christmas.

They talk about how much they want to see each other for Christmas, and enjoy the family cooking - Mum's roast potatoes and Dad's gravy - something which is likely to hit home with viewers during lockdown.

It's the first of three Christmas ads Sainsbury's has made this year and the next is out on November 16 and a third on November 19, both with a similarly nostalgic take on the festive season.

You can Watch the first ad - called gravy song - here or on TV after its first airing on the small screen during The Voice on ITV on Saturday night.

Lidl

Lidl's Christmas advert highlights cheap prices

Lidl takes a stab ad Aldi this year and takes the mickey out of other Christmas advert features, like emotional songs.

The tongue-in-cheek Christmas advert starts in earnest with a young girl giving a mince pie to a robin and then turns into a tune about how good the prices are.

The song goes “we don’t need cutesy characters when our carrots taste this good” as a fork is seen stabbing a carrot with a face - Aldi's festive advert features a character called Kevin the carrot.

The song also has lyrics about "emotional gravy" and made its debut on TV during I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! on ITV.

And it features an ice skater who can't do what she loves during lockdown.

The professional skater, Darcy Murdoch, is joined by O2's brand mascot, a robot named Bubl.

Accompanied by a song by Happier by Kurt Hugo Schneider and Macy Kate, the pair are seen skating together in a magical winter scene.

But it's soon revealed they are alongside family watching the movie Frozen together on a tablet.

You can watch the advert here now or on TV after it first aired during ITV's The Voice Final at the weekend.

John Lewis

John Lewis' advert for 2020 encourages Brits to do something nice for others

John Lewis is using its Christmas advert for 2020 to encourage Brits to do something nice for others.

The Give A Little Love ad, which is a joint effort with Watirose, was inspired by random acts of kindness during lockdown after the coronavirus pandemic first hit in March.

It features different acts of kindness through nine different live action and animation scenes.

It starts with a little girl wearing specs and a yellow raincoat helping a boy get his football down from the tree, using a heart umbrella.

The little boy then helps a snowman fly away who then aids a family in getting their car going.

The final moment is a kind-hearted nurse on a bus who gives a heart-shaped sticker on her apple to a little girl to mend her specs.

The advert is the first to include an original song by British soul singer Celeste.

The ad is different to any other campaign that John Lewis has done, and is an aim to help raise awareness for its charity partners

McDonald's

McDonald's Christmas advert 2020 tells the story of a mum and her young son, who's being encouraged to embrace his inner child

McDonald's Christmas advert for 2020 tells the story of a mother and her young son.

The animated clip starts as the mum is desperately trying to encourage her teenage son to put down his phone and video game to embrace his inner child.

The mum is dismissed when she asks him to help her put up decorations, and the teen storms off during a visit to a Christmas market too.

On the drive home, the mum finally gets through to him after starting a snowball fight outside McDonald's.

Afterwards, the pair finally decorate their Christmas tree and the boy even leaves a bag of McDonald's carrots out for Santa's reindeer.

Throughout the advert, viewers can hear Becky Hill's track Forever Young.

In 2019, McDonald's Christmas advert followed little girl Ellie as she befriended a lovable reindeer called Archie.

Coca-Cola

Coca-Cola's ad follows one dad's journey to deliver his daughter's letter to Santa

Coca-Cola is best known for its iconic "The Holidays Are Coming" Christmas advert - but this year's epic advert will have you in tears.

It starts with a father leaving his family just before Christmas to work on an oil rig, with his little daughter giving him her letter for Santa.

Viewers can then follow the dad's battle to deliver the letter to Santa, with the journey seeing him climb mountains, trek through a bug-infested forest and even riding a motorbike across a desert.

With his expedition finally drawing to a close he sees a snow-covered house, lit up by the northern lights in the distance.

But as he gets to the doorstep he sees a sign, which says "Closed for Christmas".

That's when Coca-Cola's famous festive truck pulls up to save him, and the dad reads his daughter's letter, which says "Dear Santa, Please bring daddy home for Christmas".

The ad is made by Oscar nominated director Taika Waititi, who is behind films like Jojo Rabbit and the new Star Wars film.

Disney

Disney's ad is heartwarming and focuses on the connection between family

Disney's advert for 2020 is a real tear-jerker and focuses on a grandmother and granddaughter reconnecting through a Mickey Mouse toy.

Viewers first see how Lola, the grandmother, was gifted the Mickey Mouse toy by her father in 1940.

The toy comes to symbolise family and Christmas to Lola, with the ad showing how it has been passed down through generations.

As Lola fears she is drifting apart from her now grown-up granddaughter, her grandchild surprises her by re-gifting her the doll on Christmas Day.

London-based singer Griff is behind the soundtrack, called Love Is A Compass.

The animation short marks Disney's 40-year partnership with charity Make-A-Wish.

Very

Star of the Very ad, mum Jodie, is played by Letty Butler

Very's Christmas ad starts with what appears to be the perfect Christmas setting, with a picturesque family preparing to eat dinner.

But as the camera pans out, it's revealed the actual stars on the show are a family who are mocking the cliched scene on TV.

Star of the advert, mum Jodie, played by actress Letty Butler, looks at the camera and says: "You know what Christmas moment I like? Every bloomin' one of them."

The advert then shows typical scenes that Jodie loves - despite the chaos of the busy seasonal period - including neighbours turning on their over-the-top Christmas lights and buying a tree that is too big.

Walkers

LadBaby sings carols about sausage rolls in the Walkers ad

LadBaby is the star of Walkers' 2020 Christmas advert - although there's still an appearance from long-standing face of the brand Gary Lineker.

The clip ends with Lineker cheekily helping himself to the Santa sack full of crisps.

It coincides with Walkers' new sausage roll crisps, of which 5p from each pack will go to food bank charity Trussell Trust.

The LadBaby ad is a far-cry from the 2019 campaign starring Mariah Carey.

Aldi

Kevin is back as the star of Aldi's Christmas advert for 2020

Kevin the Carrot is back - but the beloved vegetable mascot faces a perilous journey home to his family in this year's Aldi Christmas advert.

In the second part of their advert, Kevin is seen falling through the sky with a flaming parachute.

After landing in the snow, miles away from his family, he bumps into a new friend called Harry the hedgehog who gives him a lift - but the pair end up falling into a deep ravine.

After washing up on to the shore, Kevin and Harry are saved by Father Christmas - played by actor and narrator of previous Kevin the Carrot adverts, Jim Broadbent - who gives them a ride home on his bike.
