Jammie Dodgers muffins now exist – and you can buy them at Asda
IF biscuits aren't your thing but you've got a sweet tooth Asda may have the treat for you as it's now selling Jammie Dodgers muffins.
Jammies Dodgers are usually known for their sticky jam centre sandwiched between two crunchy biscuits with a heart shaped hole in the centre.
But Burton's Biscuits, the parent company behind the much-loved brand, has teamed up with confectionary manufacturer Speedibake to create a twist on the classic.
The muffin version sees a vanilla sponge filled with raspberry jam, and topped with icing and an edible heart plaque decoration.
They launched exclusively in store at Asda this month, which means you won't find them anywhere else and they're not available online at the supermarket either.
The treats come in packs of two (200g), and there's also a Maryland Cookies muffin that's launched as part of the range. This sees a vanilla sponge packed with dark chocolate chips and a Belgian dark chocolate sauce.

Both packs cost £1.50 a pop - or 75p a muffin. The Jammie Dodgers version contains 426 calories, while it's 428 calories for the Maryland Cookies one.
In comparison, Asda's own-brand muffins come in four-packs (400g) costing £1.20 - 30p a muffin. The blueberry variety contains 266 calories.
Asda also exclusively sells Cadbury Caramel muffins in a two-pack (160g) for £1- 50p each - and these contain 313 calories per muffin.
A packet of eight Jammie Dodgers biscuits (140g), meanwhile, costs a cheaper 50p at Asda with each biscuit containing 74 calories.
Instagram food reviewer said of the snacks: "Nice and moist with a good raspberry flavour that replicates the Jammie Dodgers' filling.
"Would be nice to have some cookie bits added too - but this is still a good replication of Jammie Dodgers for a muffin."
And it seems fans are keen to try them out. One person commented: "The most perfect things we never knew we needed." While another tagged a friend writing: "Omg the Jammie Dodgers muffins literally have your name written all over them."
