How to get a FREE bottle of Coca-Cola
COCA-COLA fans can get a free bottle of the pop by claiming vouchers online.
Drinks giant Coca-Cola is giving out the freebies to encourage helping businesses get back on their feet following the coronavirus crisis.
Shoppers will be able to claim one 500ml bottle of either original Coca-Cola, Diet Coke or Coca-Cola Zero Sugar.
Coca-Cola told The Sun it's making 25,000 vouchers available each day from September 21 until 11.59pm on October 10.
The website has currently run out of today's vouchers though, but it's advising fans to check back tomorrow.
A Coca-Cola spokesperson said the promotion resets around midnight each night, so it could be worth staying up if you don't want to miss out.
It added that the vouchers can be used in a number of UK retailers including Asda, BP, Greggs, Sainsbury's and WHSmith.
To claim your voucher, you'll need to fill in your name, email address and date of birth in an online form on the .
You'll then be able to select your location to choose a participating store, where you can claim the voucher.
Just make sure you don't swipe the redemption code until you're near the store, as you'll only have an hour to redeem the voucher once you've done it.
Sadly, the promotion only lets you get one voucher per person.
The freebies were shared by a user on deal-sharing website , where it proved popular.
One user said: "Amazing! Thanks for sharing."
While another added: "Just got mine, will collect Thursday when I'm at the location."
A 500ml bottle of Coca-Cola, Diet Coke or Coca-Cola Zero Sugar sets you back between £1.37 and £1.52 at Asda depending on which one you go for.
Meanwhile, Sainsbury's charges between £1.40 and £1.55 and Tesco charges £1.54.
How to cut the cost of your grocery shop
SAVING on your shop can make a big difference to your wallet. Here are some tips from comparison site Money.co.uk about how you can cut the cost of your shopping bills:
- Write yourself a list – Only buy items that you need. If it isn’t on your list, don’t put it in the trolley
- Create a budget – Work out a weekly budget for your food shopping
- Never shop hungry – you are far more likely to buy more food if your tummy is rumbling
- Don’t buy pre-chopped veggies or fruit – The extra they’ll charge for chopping can be eye watering
- Use social media – follow your favourite retailers to find out about the latest deals
- Be disloyal – You may want to go to different stores to find the best bargains
- Check the small print – It’s always worth checking the price per kg/lb/litre when comparing offers so you’re making a like for like decision as a bigger box won’t necessarily mean you get more
- Use your loyalty cards – Don’t be afraid to sign up to them all. They all work slightly differently – work out what bonus suits you better and remember to trade in your points for additional rewards
