B&M shopper explains how she got £860 haul for just £80 after visiting five branches in just one day
B&M mega fan Chloe Louise bought an impressive £860 worth of shopping for just £80 after visiting five branches in one day.
The 33-year-old law student's massive bargain haul, which she found by using the store's free scanner app, included fluffy throws for 50p and sparkly sequin curtains for £2.
Chloe, who lives in Wales, regularly shops in the discount chain on the hunt for bargains - and often visits multiple branches in the same day.
Earlier this month, on one of her most impressive hauls, she bought 69 items worth £860 for just £80.
"Sometimes I go to stores four times a week," Chloe told The Sun.
"Or if I am busy, I will try and do all the stores in my area in one day and I can be out for for nine hours shopping during that day and come home with a car full of bargains.
"Last week my car was so full I had to stop off at home, unload my bargains and go back out."
She uses B&M's free barcode scanner app to locate discounted items.
Shoppers download the app to their phones and then scan barcodes to see if the items have been reduced while in-stores.
Products that are typically discounted on the scanner are seasonal items and old stock that B&M is trying to shift.
We've previously seen how B&M shoppers have scooped 10p Frozen toys and BBQs by using the store's scanner.
The Sun has also reported on how Disney cosmetics bags and blankets have been reduced to 10p.

In this haul, some of her best finds included £10 throws that were reduced to 50p each, plus sequin curtains for £2 each instead of £24.99.
Chloe also picked up dog cooling mats for £1 instead each of £14.
But what does she do with all the items she's bought? Chloe says she'll often pick up bargains to give to family and friends - or she'll save them for presents.
For example, this shopping session saw her buy 17 different types of curtains, costing her £34 instead of £255.
Chloe says she'll keep some of the curtains herself to put up in her new house, but the rest will be given away.
She added: "If I find a bargain, I will buy for myself, family and friends.
"I have cleared the shelves in stores of thermal hats, thermal socks and thermal gloves recently ready to give to the homeless for winter this year."
B&M scanner tips to help you find a bargain
CHLOE Louise is a regular B&M shopper and admin of the B&M Bargains and More Facebook group.
She shares her top tips for finding scanner bargains with The Sun.
The barcode scanner is available on the free .
To use the scanner, open "scan" on the B&M app and point your camera toward a barcode to reveal its price.
- Visit more than one B&M: Stock availability can vary between stores, so Chloe often visits more than one B&M to maximise her changes of finding reductions. At the most, Chloe can go to seven B&M stores in one day.
- Scan reduced items: Chloe says you'd be surprised by how many discounted items are often reduced even further when you scan them on the B&M app.
- Use Facebook groups: Keep an eye on what is likely to be reduced by joining B&M Facebook groups. Chloe says being an admin of the B&M Bargains and More page helps her keep tabs on the latest deals.
- Pick your day and time carefully: Chloe claims the time and day you visit B&M does impact what bargains you'll find. There isn't a set formula for all stores, so she recommends finding out when is best to visit your closest branch for reductions. It's all about testing the waters for each shop.
Her top tips for hunting down bargains include going to multiple stores and scanning items that are already reduced, in case they're discounted even further.
She also recommends keeping an eye on the latest deals on the Facebook group, which Chloe is an admin of.
While some group members say they take pictures of barcodes, to then scan at home - saving them regular trips to B&M, Chloe says she prefers to visit stores in person because reductions can rapidly disappear.
Speaking to The Sun, Chloe said: "Most the time I know what is due to come down in price as I am a regular shopper.
"I keep an eye on those particular items until they come down to a price."
Chloe reckons she's saved hundreds of pounds over the years by using the B&M barcode scanner.
The Sun also spoke to professional bargain hunter Holly Smith who shared how she uses scanners to save money in Asda and Tesco.
