Morrisons shopper mocks 1p discount on Gordon’s pink gin
ALL shoppers love a bargain - but one discount hunter was left laughing after spotting a measly 1p off a bottle of Gordon's gin in her local Morrisons.
Mum Emma Harris from Plymouth posted her find in the after spotting it during her supermarket shop.
"OMG Just look at this amazing saving on Morrison’s pink gin," she wrote, alongside a picture of the product.
"I think my face says just how shocked I was!!"
Her picture showed a shelf of 70cl bottles of Gordon's pink gin, with a large yellow price label showing the price had been lowered from £14 to £13.99.
A number of users commented underneath her post.
"That’s one hell of a saving," one wrote, followed by laughing face emojis.
Another wrote: "No way, only 1p off."
It is unclear whether the price reduction was just a glitch at Morrisons' Plymouth branch, or whether the "offer" is available across the country.
A 70cl bottle of Gordon's pink gin is currently cheapest at Asda where it costs £13, making it cheaper than the same size bottle of its , which currently costs £16.
Morrisons did not respond to requests for comment on the offer but we will update this story if it does.
