Nando's has confirmed to The Sun that everything on their menu, apart from alcoholic drinks, will be included in the Eat Out to Help Out offer.

Discounts only apply to customers who are eating in, so you won't get money off if you're taking your food away or ordering for home delivery.

KFC, McDonald's and Wetherspoons are among the other high street chains to pass on VAT savings to customers.

Nando's customers are already getting cheaper food after the restaurant chain slashed prices across its entire menu following a cut in VAT.

For example, it lowered the price of its quarter of Peri Peri chicken from £4.25 to £3.70.

The only exclusion is alcoholic beverages, which aren't subject to the VAT reduction.

Chancellor Rishi Sunak announced he was slashing VAT for businesses in the hospitality industry from 20 per cent to 5 per cent to help entice Brits to start spending again.

If you're thinking about having a cheeky Nando's, use the restaurant's  to locate your nearest branch.

What is Eat Out to Help Out?

The Eat Out to Help Out scheme sees diners get 50 per cent off meals and non-alcoholic drinks, up to £10 a head, throughout August.

It starts on August 3 and will run every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday until August 31.

Eat Out to Help Out isn't available on Thursday, Friday or the weekend.

Chancellor Rishi Sunak revealed the new eat out initiative in his mini-Budget earlier this month.

There's no limit to the number of times you can use the discount, and other vouchers and offers can be used on top.

Businesses will need to register with the scheme on Gov.uk before being able to offer the discount, as well as be Food Standards Agency approved.

The Sun has rounded up other discounts you'll find from brands including McDonald's, Costa Coffee and KFC.
