KFC slashes cost of boneless bucket in half as it cuts prices due to VAT cut
KFC is cutting the price of its boneless bucket today from £10 to £5 - as it slashes prices due to the VAT cut.
VAT is being cut from 20 per cent to 5 per cent, as Chancellor Rishi Sunak announced in his mini-Budget last week.

The tax cut is due to last until January 2021 - but the fast food chain is only slashing boneless bucket prices until July 19.
KFC isn't cutting prices across the board either. Instead it's reducing the price of sharing buckets by £1 and slashes "fan favourites" by 50p until January next year.
The items slashed by 50p are the boneless banquet box, mighty bucket for one, four piece boneless dips meal and four piece Colonel's meal for one.
Normally, a boneless bucket - which comes with 10 mini fillets - costs £10 but the "boneless budget bucket" will cost £4.99 in the deal.
KFC menu items being cut in price
ON top of its half price boneless bucket deal, KFC has said it will reduce prices across a number of "fan favourites".
While it's not clear exactly what products these will be, or for how long the deals will last for, we do know it will include £1 knocked off the price of all sharing buckets.
KFC prices vary depending on the branch, but we've used July 2020 price index to give you an idea of what you can expect to pay for your food tomorrow.

The other price drops that come in will see you save on your KFC meal.
Prices vary depending on the branch, but typically a family feast six piece sharing bucket will cost £12.99 instead of £13.99, while a party bucket will set you back £24.99, down from £25.99.
Mr Sunak's tax cut is set to last for six months in bid to get Brits eating out again to boost the economy during the coronavirus crisis.
In response, Wetherspoon has promised to pass the savings from the duty drop onto customers by cutting prices by up to 28 per cent.
KFC says that it will be running more deals in the coming weeks so keep your eyes peeled.
The fast food giant has also promised to register for the Chancellor's Eat Out to Help Out scheme that will see Brits dine-out for the half price.

The government will pick up half the bill - up to £10 per head - when you eat out on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday throughout August.
In a statement on Twitter, KFC said: "The VAT reduction comes at a time of continuing economic uncertainty, so it’s an important initiative in terms of supporting our restaurants and teams, as well as the recovery of our whole sector. It’s welcome news.
"Equally, our fans have been amazing over the past few months, so we are rolling out price reductions across our menu too."
