ALDI has extended its 30-minute delivery service with Deliveroo to 11 new locations.

Since then, the discounter has rolled out the service to nine shops in total including eight stores across the Midlands and one in Camden, London.

And as of yesterday, customers who live near its London stores in Kilburn, Tottenham and North Finchley as well as the Cambridge store on Histon Road can use the service too.

On July 20, five more Aldi stores in Manchester and two London stores in Archway and Balham will also roll out on Deliveroo - we've listed all locations below.

Customers who live near the 20 stores will be able to choose from around 200 Aldi groceries and have them delivered to their door in 30 minutes.

If it shows up as an option when you fill in your postcode then you are eligible for the service.

Items are chosen and packed by Aldi staff in-store for delivery via Deliveroo’s network of riders.

If the trial is successful, the supermarket hopes to roll out the scheme to stores in other cities and towns across the UK before the end of 2020.

Aldi has roughly 880 stores across the UK.

Deliveroo is free to sign up to but it does charge a delivery fee, which can vary by retailer and how far you live from the businesses that you're ordering from.

To order groceries from Aldi, you'll be charged £4.99 per order and there's a minimum spend of £15.

Individual product prices will vary via Deliveroo compared to in store, which means they'll likely cost more as you're paying a premium to not leave your home.

Aldi doesn't currently offer online grocery deliveries, although in April it launched a £23.99 essentials home delivery food box containing 22 items including tinned soup, rice and pasta.

You can also order some of Aldi's Specialbuys online, which vary weekly from gardening products to homeware, as well as alcohol.

Richard Thornton, communications director at Aldi UK, said: “Even as many lockdown restrictions are lifted, we’re aware that there are still many people who are shielding and would like to shop at Aldi but can’t.

“In extending this trial further, we are making it even easier for thousands more people in different parts of the country to get hold of great quality food at Aldi’s unbeatable prices.”

AsdaMorrisonsSainsbury's, and Tesco have all offered home delivery services for years now, each setting their own minimum spend and delivery fees.

Discounter Lidl is yet to move online, but we've recently seen Co-op and M&S Food also partner with Deliveroo for nationwide deliveries.
