SHOPPERS queued in the pouring rain from 4am to buy trainers that cost up to £1,800.
The Air Jordan 1 OG Dior shoes were only on sale in the UK at the fashion house’s flagship New Bond Street store and nearby
They cost £1,800 for the high-top version and £1,500 for the low.
Some shoppers have quickly turned to resale sites to sell their trainers — listing them for between £15,000 and £30,000 at online marketplace StockX.
It was revealed last week that five million people had registered for a chance to buy the limited edition sneakers — dubbed “the most wanted trainers of all time”.
Just 13,000 pairs have been made with 8,000 sold yesterday.
The remaining 5,000 pairs are being offered to Dior’s top clients and VIPs.

The neutral-toned trainers are a collaboration between artistic director of Dior menswear Kim Jones and athletic wear maker Jordan Brand, created by basketball superstar Michael Jordan.
They were first previewed at the Men’s Fall 2020 Runway show in Miami in December when Jones enlisted the help of rapper Travis Scott to model the trainers.
