McDonald’s is adding six items back on to its menu next week – and 1,000 restaurants will serve breakfast

MCDONALD’S is adding six items to its reduced menu next week, including milkshakes and mayo chicken sandwiches.
The fast food chain is also bringing back the bacon mayo chicken, hot chocolate, bacon double cheeseburger and Happy Meal organic milk bottles.
McDonald's confirmed these items will reappear on its menu from 11am on Wednesday, July 8.
It plans on adding more choices "over the summer" but stopped short of revealing which items will be coming back, and when.
Fan favourites that are still off the menu include the chicken legend, plus its entire range of wraps and salads.

The update to its menu comes as McDonald's confirmed it's also expanding its breakfast selection to 1,000 restaurants, also on Wednesday, July 8.
The breakfast menu includes fan favourites such as McMuffins and hash browns, but there will be no porridge, bagels or breakfast wraps.
McDonald's has already brought back breakfast to 42 branches as part of an initial trial.
Paul Pomroy, CEO of McDonald's UK and Ireland, said: "From 11am on Wednesday, July 8, we will reintroduce some of the main menu items you’ve told us you’re missing, as we slowly seek to return to our full menu.
"We will constantly review what we’re able to sell and hope to reintroduce more items later in the summer."
He continued: "Following a successful first week of the pilot, I am delighted to announce that also on Wednesday, July 8, we will extend breakfast service to over 1,000 restaurants."
Maccies has been reopening its restaurants in phases for either home delivery, takeaway or drive-thru orders.
It now has over 1,260 sites open for business, although not all branches offer every method of ordering.
Customers are being advised to use the to check what their local is doing, as well as the latest opening times.

McDonald's says its restaurants will also start to stay open for longer, with some returning to 24-hour opening times.
Initially, newly reopened McDonald's were open from 11am to 10pm but it started extending these opening times when it reintroduced breakfast.
Crucially, restaurants remain closed for dine-in orders, with McDonald's confirming today that they WON'T reopen on July 4.
This is despite Prime Minister Boris Johnson confirming that pubs and restaurants can reopen for customers to sit inside from that date.
McDonald's has also officially cancelled its Monopoly game, with the popular promotion not returning until 2021.
McDonald's temporarily shut all 1,350 restaurants on March 23.
