Is JD Sports open today? Opening times, new rules and which branches are reopening revealed
JD Sports has reopened all 309 of its stores in England to customers from today.
The sportswear retailer also opened its high street and so-called ‘open air’ stores in Northern Ireland on Friday, but shopping centre sites in the country remain closed because they are in an enclosed space.

There is no news on when JD Sports might be able to open its Scottish and Welsh stores as lockdown rules have not been lifted there yet.
In a statement on Monday, JD Sports said: “As we and the world look to see what the new ‘normal’ looks like, we want to stress that the welfare of our employees and customers is always our main priority.”
What are the opening times for my local store?
JD Sports announced the immediate closure of all stores in the UK, Europe and the US on March 24.
At the time, it warned that its sales would be hit – although shoppers have still been able to buy things online.
Now, many of its stores are open again.

What will stores look like?
Like other retailers, JD Sports has implemented lots of changes in its stores to keep customers and staff safe.
Shoppers will need to maintain a two metre distance, and you won’t be able to use the changing rooms.
The brand has also stepped up its cleaning and disinfecting regimes, especially in places which are used often.
At the till, you can pay via contactless for anything up to £45, and instead of a paper receipt, you will receive an e-receipt, which will be emailed direct to you.
JD Sports won’t be accepting any returns for the next 14 days while its shops get up and running again.
But it has extended its returns period to 60 days for anything bought in store.
Is there a sale on?
JD Sports hasn’t said how much discounting there will be in stores when they reopen, but it may need to clear unsold stock quickly.
It currently has a sale online with up to 50 per cent off lots of items.
