VE Day May bank holiday supermarket opening times for Tesco, Asda, Morrisons, Aldi and more

SUPERMARKETS are staying open for the VE May bank holiday weekend, but some have adjusted their hours.
Plenty of stores are also running dedicated opening times for vulnerable people and NHS workers because of coronavirus, which may also apply over the weekend.

Aldi opening hours
Aldi stores were open from 8am till 8pm on bank holiday Friday.
Yesterday shops opened from 8am till 10pm, while today it's 10am to 4pm.
Aldi usually opens half an hour early for vulnerable and elderly customers Monday to Saturday and this will also apply to the bank holiday.
Asda opening hours

Opening times usually vary from 6am to 8am, although most branches have reduced opening hours to help staff keep shelves stocked during the lockdown.

Iceland's opening hours will be the same as every other weekday - which is usually 9am to 6pm.

Morrisons opening hours
Morrisons stores will be operating their usual hours over the bank holiday.
The majority of our stores will be open from 7am to 10pm Monday to Saturday, and 9.30am to 4pm on Sunday.
Scottish stores are open 8am to 8pm on Sunday.
The first hour on Monday to Saturday is dedicated for NHS workers to shop.

All M&S Foodhalls are open over the bank holiday, including those that are found in larger stores.
