Cadbury Dream bars are back in the UK but you can only buy them in B&M
CADBURY Dream bars are once again being sold in the UK - but only in B&M stores.
The discounter is selling 180g bars of the iconic white chocolate for £2.99 - which is £3 cheaper than the best price online.
UK shoppers could previously only buy Dream online for £5.99 from GB Gifts, which imports them all the way from Australia.
Fans of the much-missed bars were left devastated when the popular treat was axed from shelves by Cadbury just a few years after its launch in 2002.
In case you've never tried one, Dream bars are made from white chocolate and cocoa butter.
To help fill the void, Cadbury released a new white chocolate range, suitably called Cadbury White, in July 2019 - but some chocolate lovers say it just isn’t the same as their beloved Dream.
The Sun first spotted Dream bars being sold in B&M on the Instagram page .
The discounter has now confirmed they're being sold in stores - and the bars are the same Australian imports being sold online by more expensive online retailers.
As B&M doesn't have an online shop, you'll need to visit your nearest branch to pick up a bar.
B&M has 600 stores in the UK - use the to locate your nearest one.
The Sun has asked B&M if all shops are selling Dream bars, and if they're a permanent item.
B&M has been known to sell products that are only available in other countries - such as these After Eights that taste of mango and pineapple.
Dream bars aren't being sold in any other major store or supermarket.
The Australian Dream bars contain 141 calories per four squares of chocolate.
In the UK, the average man shouldn't consume more than 2,500 calories, while it's 2,000 for women.
A spokesperson from Cadbury told The Sun: "Cadbury Dream Bar is a product that is only available in the Australian market.
"We currently don’t have any plans to launch in the UK, we’re always listening to consumers so watch this space."
We've asked Cadbury if the Australian Dream bars use the same recipe as the old UK versions and we'll update this article when we know more.
As well as Dream, B&M also told The Sun it's selling Cadbury Top Decks, usually only sold in South Africa, and Cadbury Crispy Mint Creme and Cadbury Moro bars, also from Australia.
The budget chain is also selling two different types of Old Gold bars - in roast almond and peppermint flavours.
