M&S now delivers fruit and veg boxes – and they start at £15
MARKS & Spencer has launched three more food boxes to help customers who are unable to visit stores.
The retailer launched an essentials box earlier this month, which contains cupboard staples such as pasta, rice and cooking sauces, as well as Percy Pigs.
This will continue to be on sale, but it has now added two vegetable boxes and a fruit box to its delivery options.
With all the boxes, M&S says the contents may vary slightly depending on the time of year.
And if it has difficulty supplying products, it could offer alternative goods of the same value.
The new options include a mixed vegetable box, which costs £15 and includes nine different items.
On the website at the moment, the contents include 2kg of potatoes, six leeks, 1kg of carrots, garlic and broccoli, among other things.
The second vegetable box is a mixed selection box, containing ten slightly higher-end products and costing £17.
It includes beans, Chantenay carrots, chillies, butternut squash and mangetout in the selection.
The fruit box, costing £20, contains eight items including bananas, a pineapple, mango, grapes and pears, plus other seasonal fruit.
Customers are only allowed to order one of each box to a particular address in each transaction.
However, M&S said it is possible for a customer to order another box if it is for a different address.
Priority access has been given to M&S customers over 70, who were identified via their Sparks loyalty card and who received details about the boxes first.
Delivery of a box costs £3.99 on top - so you will need to add that on to the cost.
