Morrisons shoppers can use Deliveroo to get groceries delivered in 30 minutes

MORRISONS shoppers can now get food delivered to their home in under 30 minutes with Deliveroo.

Shoppers will be able to choose from a range of around 70 items, including meat, fruit and vegetables and cupboard essentials

The new service, which launches today, will be available from more than 130 Morrisons stores across the UK.

It means shoppers have another way to get food to their home while online delivery slots continue to be snapped up at an unprecedented rate.

Morrisons customers will need to order their groceries on the Deliveroo app or website.

This means they'll need to be signed up to Deliveroo to place an order.

Tesco do home deliveries with a £25 minimum spend and an 80-item limit. Slots are released every midnight.

Asda do deliveries with a £40 minimum spend and Click & Collect with a £25 minimum spend.

Iceland home deliveries have a £35 minimum spend, but are limited to elderly and vulnerable customers.

Morrisons has a £40 minimum spend on home deliveries and also provide £30 food boxes of essential items with a £5 delivery charge.

Waitrose home deliveries have a £60 minimum spend. A minimum of 25 per cent of products are reserved for elderly and vulnerable customers.

Sainsbury's have a £40 minimum spend on home deliveries. New registrations are currently closed.

When The Sun checked today, we could order items including soups, rice, bread and cereal from Morrisons via the Deliveroo app.

Deliveroo listed a delivery fee of £4.50, plus a service charge of 49p - we've asked Deliveroo if this is standard, or if it depends on your area.

The online delivery service also charges a "small order fee" if your total order is under £15.

This fee varies depending on how much you've spent, as Deliveroo will add on a charge to take your total order up to £19.99, including the delivery fee and service charge.

We've asked Morrisons and Deliveroo if there is any limit on how many items customers can buy and we'll update this article when we know more.

Limits are in place on certain items online, although Morrisons doesn’t give further details on exact products or limits.

Deliveroo is free to sign up to, and the app is also free to download.
