Asda home delivery and click and collect – what time are the slots released online?
THE UK has been struck by coronavirus, with the nation ordered to stay at home to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
But how can you get Asda products delivered direct to your door or organise click and collect?

Does Asda do home delivery and click and collect?
Asda does home deliveries for customers who spend a minimum of £40.
Click and collect is also available for orders over £25.
However the Sun checked on April 24, using one London postcode, which showed delivery and click and collect slots booked out until May 8.
The chain urges customers to shop in store where possible in order to reserve delivery slots for those who are self-isolating.
Asda's website says: "Understandably the demand for online shopping is really high, please check back regularly as we continue to work on increasing our capacity."
Asda is offering contactless delivery and click and collect.
When you make a click and collect order Asda staff will bring your goods out to you for ease of collection.
Customers should remain in their car if they go to a car park collection point as staff will load shopping into the car boot.
To minimise contact, Asda is no longer offering to return any items at the collection point.

What time are Asda home delivery and click and collect slots released?
Asda does not release home delivery or click and collect slots at a specific time.
Slots will update as and when they become available in each area.
Deliveries and click and collect slots now show on the site a week in advance, rather than two weeks as was the case previously.
Supermarket home deliveries during coronavirus lockdown
Tesco do home deliveries with a £25 minimum spend and an 80-item limit. Slots are released every midnight.
Asda do deliveries with a £40 minimum spend and Click & Collect with a £25 minimum spend.
Iceland home deliveries have a £35 minimum spend, but are limited to elderly and vulnerable customers.
Morrisons has a £40 minimum spend on home deliveries and also provide £30 food boxes of essential items with a £5 delivery charge.
Waitrose home deliveries have a £60 minimum spend. A minimum of 25 per cent of products are reserved for elderly and vulnerable customers.
Sainsbury's have a £40 minimum spend on home deliveries. New registrations are currently closed.
Does Asda have restrictions on any items ordered online?
Asda imposed restrictions of three-per-item on all online purchases of food, toiletries and cleaning products.
The supermarket also put purchasing limits of a maximum of three items on certain handwashing and baby milk products in store.
However, they lifted restrictions on fruit and vegetables and chilled products.

What has Asda said about their response to coronavirus?
Asda has revealed that they are taking special measures to assist in deliveries to self-isolating customers.
Drivers are now equipped with rubber gloves and alcoholic hand gel while orders are now pre-bagged.
Asda has also outlined the steps it is taking to support vulnerable customers in-store.
And on March 19, CEO Roger Burnley wrote: "Since I last wrote to you, it has become increasingly clear to us that we must help to shield the most vulnerable in our communities from this virus.
"We want to do all we can to support this effort and so have made the decision that on Friday 20th March, from store opening until 9am, we are going to make our larger stores available for those vulnerable people – and those caring for them, to let them shop and get what they need.
"So – if you’re in a vulnerable group and need to get your shopping – or are caring for someone in a vulnerable group, we’ll do everything we can to support you in stores on Friday morning before 9am.
"To our other customers, please help us do this by leaving your shopping until later in the day.
