COSTCO stores will remain open during the second lockdown so that people can pick up essential items like food and loo roll.
Shoppers were spotted queuing outside the superstores ahead of the second lockdown which started today, November 5, even though you'll still be able to shop there during the heightened restrictions.

The retailer is generally open from 10am for trade customers and from 11am for individuals, closing at 8.30pm.
Store opening times can vary depending on location though, so it's always worth checking ahead for your local stores by using its .
Because the retailer sells essential items, it is allowed to remain open under the latest government guidelines for the nationwide second lockdown.
Costco has around 30 stores in the UK, but you have to be a member to shop there.
Which businesses WILL be staying open through lockdown?
THE following businesses are allowed to stay open during the second coronavirus lockdown in England:

- Taxi or vehicle hire businesses
- Banks
- Building societies
- Credit unions
- Short term loan providers
- Savings clubs
- Cash points
- Currency exchanges
- Post offices
- Funeral directors
- Launderettes and dry cleaners
- Dental services
- Opticians
- Hearing services
- Chiropody
- Chiropractors
- Osteopaths
- Mental health services
- Veterinary surgeons and pet shops
- Agricultural supplies shop
- Storage and distribution facilities
- Car parks
- Public toilets
- Garden centres
It costs £33.60 a year for an individual to join and it lets you shop in store or online.
You also have to be a member to use its website - and an online-only deal costs £15 annually.
There's also an executive membership option costing £74.40 a year which offers additional perks like cashback on purchases.
Although it's still open, Costco warned that some popular items may be out of stock due to high demand.
During the first lockdown in March, Costco put some restrictions in place limiting the number of items you could buy.
We've asked Costco if there are any limits on items this time and will update this story when we hear back.
Supermarkets have said they are well-stocked and Prime Minister Boris Johnson said supply chains will not be affected by the second lockdown.
Shopping at Costco stores during lockdown
When you head to any Costco store, there are safety measures in place to help stop the spread of coronavirus.
You must wear a mask, unless exempt, and you must observe the social distance guidelines it has in store.
You will only be allowed to take one other person with you.
There are screens at till points and frequent disinfecting of things like trolleys and counters, Costco says.
Shopping online at Costco during lockdown
You can also shop online at , though due to local lockdown restrictions there are some delays with suppliers.
You'll need to be a member (as described above) and delivery is included in the price when shopping online.
The only exception is online grocery delivery, which is £5.99 per order with no minimum spend.
