HMV to close all 120 stores across the UK due to coronavirus
HMV is closing all 120 of its UK stores from today because of the coronavirus epidemic.
The music and film retailer confirmed the news in an update on its social media pages this afternoon, March 22.

HMV confirmed customers will still be able to order products from its website while shops are shut.
The retailer said: "We're very sad to have to let you know we'll be temporarily closing our stores for trade from the end of the day today, Sunday March 22."
HMV hasn't said when it expects stores to reopen.
We've asked if staff will be paid while shops are shut and we'll update this article when we know more.

HMV has collapsed into administration on two separate occasions, with the first time being in 2013, as it struggled to cope with the rise of online downloads.
The retailer was last saved by Canadian retailer Sunrise Records in February 2019.
HMV then shocked fans by quietly deciding to close or relocate several of its stores over December 2019.
It's the latest store to announce it'll be temporarily closing down due to coronavirus.
Timpson today announced it will close all 2,150 UK shops from the end of trade today, while Primark is shutting down all 189 stores.
It comes as cases of coronavirus, also known as COVID-19, jumped to 5,132 in the UK with 244 deaths reported at the time of writing.
Sainsbury’s boss is warning customers to stand one metre from staff while shopping to halt the spread of coronavirus.
H&M has closed all UK stores today because of COVID-19.
And TK Maxx has shut all of its 349 stores as the virus continues to spread throughout the UK.
