BT gives all customers unlimited home broadband to help families stay connected during coronavirus
BT is offering its customers unlimited broadband so that they stay in touch with their family easily during the coronavirus quarantine.
Marc Allera, consumer chief executive at BT, announced the company will be removing the cap on its home broadband deals.

In a statement released today, Marc said it would help parents who have to work from home and kids connected to school.
It currently offers deals for 15 GB, 30 GB and 50 GB of data.
EE and BT mobile customers will now be able to access the NHS website without using their data, and those who have run out can still use it.
There’s also now a £5 cap on calls to UK landlines and mobiles for its landline only customers, who are often more vulnerable and elderly.

For people who are concerned about their bills, he said: “We know this is already a stressful time for customers worried about their finances, so we’ve put in place a dedicated team to support customers that need extra help with their bills.
“If a customer contacts us with money worries related to Coronavirus, we’ll work out what works best for them.”
