Domino’s to give out free pizzas to NHS workers on Friday as the coronavirus crisis continues

NHS workers can get a free pizza from selected Domino's Pizza branches across the UK tomorrow, March 20.

This is to say thanks for their tireless work during the coronavirus crisis.

The offer has gone viral on social media after it was shared by Facebook Page , but sadly it's only available at branches owned by franchise DS Group.

We've made a list of these below, but it could be worth checking with your local before making the trip.

Domino's has more than 1,000 restaurants across the UK. You can find your nearest one using .

Spotted by , the local franchise group wrote on Facebook: "We want to say thank you to all of our doctors, nurses and NHS staff who are working tirelessly day and night to keep us safe in these difficult times."

"This Friday we are giving free pizza to all NHS staff across all of our DS Group Domino's branches.

"To redeem your free medium pizza for collection, bring your ID into one of the stores listed below on Friday 20th March."

A medium pizza costs up to £18.99 at Domino's, so it'd be a sweet saving if you're eligible.

If you aren't able to get the deal at your local, Tastecard holders can currently get 50 per cent off food from Domino's Pizza and Pizza Hut.

A Tastecard costs £39.99 per year, but you can get a 60-day trial for just £1.

A spokesperson for Domino's told The Sun: "Some of our franchisees have put deals in place to support their local NHS as a way of saying thank you for their hard work during this time.

"While not every store will be participating in the free pizza Friday offer, you can expect to see lots of support for all our emergency services from Domino's over the coming weeks and months."

The move follows other major chains also offering free drinks to frontline staff during the coronavirus crisis.

McDonald's will now offer free drinks to staff at all its restaurants, while Pret will also offer free drinks and discounts on food.

And Greggs is giving free hot drinks to NHS and emergency service staff to say thanks.
