McDonald’s customer explains how to order a Big Mac Chicken Sandwich in the UK
A MCDONALD'S fan has explained how to get yourself a Big Mac Chicken Sandwich in the UK - despite it not being available on the menu.
Instead, you order two Mayo Chicken sandwiches and construct them in the Big Mac format.
Bradley Clements, 23, from Midlothian in Scotland, then also snapped up a pot of Big Mac Sauce, which are available at McDonald's as long as stocks last.
If you followed the trick by the HGV technician, you'd pay an average of £2.88 for the whole lot, compared to £3.19 for a traditional Big Mac.
Although keep in mind that as McDonald's is a franchise prices can vary between branches.
Mayo chicken burgers including a slice of cheese cost £1.19 each and a pot of Big Sauce sets you back 50p.
The Big Mac Chicken burgers have never been on the menu in the UK, and McDonald's told The Sun there are no plans to launch them here either.
But they've previously been available in the Netherlands, New Zeeland and Australia, where they cost £3.79 (7.89 Australian Dollars) at the time, McDonald's said.
The sandwiches come with fried chicken burgers instead of beef patties, in between three buns, along with the Big Mac special sauce.
The chicken sits in between the usual Big Mac garnish, iceberg lettuce, cheese, onions and pickles.
Another way to still your Chicken Big Mac Sandwich fix is by ordering a McChicken and adding cheese plus the special sauce and pickles.
These burgers typically cost a pricier £3.19, and you can then add a slice of cheese for 20p and the sauce for 50p.
If you're keen to try any of the menu tricks, keep in mind that McDonald's expects the Big Mac sauce to sell out within four weeks.
The fast food chain told The Sun it's stocked up on sauce pots in all branches this week, but it's better to nab one sooner rather than later.
The sauce have a seven-day shelf life, so don't buy anymore than you can eat in a week.
McDonald's has 1,200 restaurants to choose from in the UK - use the r to track down your nearest one.
A McDonald’s spokesperson said: "We are loving the creations our customers are making with our iconic Big Mac Special Sauce dip pots, from roast dinners to this ‘McChicken Big Mac’."
