Argos and Amazon recall Tower pressure cookers over fears they could burn people
ARGOS and Amazon shoppers are being urged to check if they have a Tower pressure cooker as the manufacturer has recalled SEVEN models.
It's concerned by test results that show people could be burned while using the cookers because of steam emitted and the unexpected release of liquid.
Tower also says excessive heat in the handle could scald those who touch it.
The manufacturer adds that it sold the pressure cookers directly as well as through various retailers, with the majority being sold by Argos and Amazon.
Argos sold the affected models between July 2014 and August 2019 - see the box below for a full list of makes and model numbers affected.
You can find the model number stamped on the base of the item. If there's no legible model number you should contact Tower's customer service line on: 0333 220 6091.
