McDonald’s now does TABLE SERVICE in restaurants across the UK when you order via its app
MCDONALD'S now does table service in restaurants when you order via its app.
The fast food giant has added numbers to tables in every one of its 1,249 restaurants across the UK.
To get table service you'll need to.
Then order via the app and select "eat in".
Select "table service" as your collection method and enter the name of the table.
Then pay for your food and wait for it to arrive.
Wetherspoons launched a similar service back in 2017, which has proved popular with customers.
With some cheeky pub goers even putting out the name of their branch and table number in a bid to get strangers to order them drinks and food.
But to order to your table at McDonald's you'll need to be within 100 meters of the restaurant.
You can order in advance or arriving, find a table and put the number into the app.
Last year, McDonald's trialled letting customers reserve tables in its High Street Kensington branch.
It was to coincide with the launch of new posh Signature burger, which were then dropped off the menu this summer.
Customers in some branches have also been able to order to a table via the self-service machines.
Earlier this year, McDonald's extended its breakfast hours from 10.30am to 11am.
Next month it's launching a new vegan meal with dippers that taste of pesto.
