Aldi slashes the price of Christmas dinner veggies to just 19p a bag from today
ALDI has slashed the price of its veggies to just 19p a bag from today as the supermarkets battle it out to have the cheapest greens for Christmas.
The discounter has reduced the price of bags of sprouts, parsnips, swede and potatoes as part of its annual festive sale.
Red cabbage and carrots have also been knocked down in price to complete your Christmas dinner plate.
The 19p deal is available from today until December 24 so shoppers have a little over a week to stock up.
In total, the supermarket has reduced six different types of vegetables, meaning you can get all veggies for Christmas for just £1.14.
It's the cheapest price for those ingredients of any major supermarket for the same approximate weights.
