Tesco slashes chocolate Christmas advent calendars down to £1.50 from £8
FORGET to buy your advent calendar in time for December? No problem because shoppers can bag a bargain on festive countdowns at Tesco.
The supermarket has slashed the price of chocolate Christmas advent calendars from big brands to as little as £1.50 each.
Shoppers have spotted the Maltesers Truffles calendars for £1.50, down from £8, saving you £6.50.
You can also save £10 on a Toblerone countdown, which has been reduced to £2, and a Kinder Mini Me one has also dropped to £2.50, from £10.
Thorntons fans can also save £6.75 on a Continental calendar, which features a chocolate truffle behind every door.
And what's more, if you pick yours up today then you've got at least four choccies to catch up on...
Or if you're super savvy and are able to store them somewhere cool so they don't melt, you can stock up on the bargains for next year to save you cash.
Shoppers have shared their bargains on the Facebook group, with one reporting that they found the deals in stores in Beaumont Leys, Leicester.
But some bargain hunters have complained that they can't find any advent calendars in their local stores.

Any unsold advent calendars have had their prices dropped in a bid to shift them to make room for new products.
