XMAS DINNER IN A TIN

GAME brings back its Christmas Tinner – and now there’s a vegan version too

HOUSEHOLDS that don't have the time or inclination to cook Christmas dinner can now get a three-course version in a TIN - and there's a vegan version too.

The "Christmas Tinner"; was invented by masterminds at tech retailer GAME in 2013 so gamers could continue playing for as long as possible without having to stop and cook a meal.

But the 400g tins are back for 2019 costing £1.99.

If you can stomach it, the meat version has nine layers with the top layer your breakfast of scrambled eggs and bacon, followed by two mushed up mince pies - because everyone needs an 11am snack.

Then there's the main event; turkey and potatoes, gravy, bread sauce, cranberry sauce, and either Brussels sprout with stuffing or broccoli with stuffing, plus roast carrots and parsnips.

Last but not least, is the bottom layer of Christmas pudding for dessert.
